Keeping Up with NAIC Changes – P&C Insurance

$0

What This Course Covers

Each year, NAIC changes can affect P&C statutory accounting guidance, annual statement instructions, schedules, disclosures, and filing processes.

This course focuses on selected current-year changes most relevant to P&C reporting, where they appear in the filing, when they take effect, and the implementation considerations reporting teams should evaluate.

Who Should Attend

  • P&C statutory accountants
  • Financial reporting and regulatory compliance teams
  • Controllers and managers overseeing P&C filings
  • Anyone responsible for implementing NAIC updates.

What You'll Be Able to Do

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify selected NAIC changes affecting P&C insurers
  • Trace how selected changes affect P&C statutory filings
  • Describe implementation considerations for selected new or revised guidance
  • Identify common implementation mistakes and review points

How This Helps You on the Job

NAIC changes can create problems when their impact is misunderstood or implementation occurs too late.

This course gives P&C reporting teams a framework for identifying which selected changes affect their filings, where process or documentation updates may be needed, and what areas warrant additional review before filing.
